Friends Title & Escrow Co. was established in 2021 by David Zumbrunn. David is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in mortgage, title, and real estate. David’s experience in the industry began on the mortgage side where he has held a variety of roles from loan origination to underwriting and credit risk management. David earned his law degree from the University of Maryland while working at Fannie Mae.

Friends Title & Escrow Co. grew substantially since its inception. Originally founded in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, Friends Title & Escrow Co. has since opened its corporate office in Frederick, Maryland-retaining Shepherdstown as a satellite office. Friends Title & Escrow Co. was originally licensed in West Virginia, but within the first six months of operating, added Maryland and Virginia and continues to grow adding new jurisdictions to better service our real estate and lending partners.
